RI1W BioBuzz 2026-2027 Robot

Aperoei

Earning its name from the stickers on its flywheel, Aperoei was designed in the very first week of the BioBuzz season. Built to test prototype mechanisms early on, it allowed the team to validate concepts quickly

Intake, Sorter & Shooter

The robot uses a rubber band intake to quickly pull game elements inside, where a passive sorter automatically separates them: pollen fall down to the lower section while nectar stays on top. A servo then feeds the balls into the shooter mechanism, where a Rhino wheel fires them towards the target.

Autonomous 

During the autonomous phase, Aperoei can complete 1 hive tip while successfully securing both the leave and park points.
