Code Orange

Code Orange was designed for the Decode season, focusing on fast sorting, precise shooting, and a sturdy chassis that can take a hit.

Intake, Spindexer & Shooter The robot uses a rubber band intake to pull game elements inside, where an internal spindexer sorts the artifacts by color. Once sorted, a fixed hood shooter fires them into the goal.

Software & Autonomous Using a Limelight camera with AprilTags, the software automatically calculates the required shooter velocity and target angle on the fly. During the autonomous phase, Code Orange can sort and score 9 artifacts fully automatically.
